Hello fellow high performer! I know and you know that you are capable of pretty much anything you put your mind to, but sometimes our minds struggle more than others. The programs below are designed to empower you to do well and be well. You’ll learn practices that I had to learn as a result of trauma if I wanted even a glimmer of my life back.
My hope is that you learn from my experiences and 1) Avoid waiting until something bad happens to take care of your mental welfare 2) That my experience will help you feel better. 3) That if someone in your life is struggling, you will feel educated to support them. (Hint, avoid saying, “Get over it,” or “People have it worse than you.”)
High performers fall into a category of people highly susceptible to mental challenges. You’re not weird or unlucky just too damn smart for your own good. On one hand, we can feel good that mental challenges are more common among people with high IQs (congratulations, we’re really smart!). On another hand, it feels frustrating to know your potential and feel like your goals are out of reach.
